The hotel's prime location was perfect for our group of friends who were looking for adventure. We had a blast indulging in mountain tours, hiking, and cycling. The hotel was also a great base for exploring the historic Fuggerei district and visiting the world-famous puppet theatre museum. It was a fun-filled vacation full of thrilling activities!
The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene for young party-goers. It would have been amazing to have some trendy clubs or bars nearby to continue the fun after exploring during the day.

Excellent facilities in the hotel, including spa / swimming pool. The hotel has easy access to the motorway as we were travelling back to Netherlands to return to England - good stop off point. Tram stop quite near to give easy access to city. Food in restaurant was the best which we had tasted during our travels in Europe - presented to a very high standard.
Bedrooms could have done with air conditioning

We asked for two sofa beds and got one. It is supposed to be a heated pool but it was definitely freezing.

Convenient location near A8 for Munich trips. Friendly desk staff and late-night restaurant. Cheap compared to Munich hotels. Perfect single room with ample parking. Comfortable bed, clean room.

The staff was friendly and the food was delicious - we enjoyed the breakfast included.
We had booked a "family room" said to be large enough to accomodate 6-9 persons. What we got was 2 adjoining rooms each with 2 single beds and a cot. The doors between the rooms had key problems and the poor staff spent considerable time trying to get their keys out of the lock.

Spent Christmas at a hotel near the highway, which turned out to be surprisingly perfect! the breakfast spread was delicious and satisfying, and the staff were friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions on things to do in the area. the free Wi-Fi was a definite bonus!
The location wasn't quite what we expected and it was a bit of a walk to get to the town center. the room we stayed in felt a bit outdated, but it was clean and had everything we needed.

Convenient location to A8, friendly staff, late-night restaurant, affordable compared to Munich hotels, perfect single room.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The decor was a little less fancy than I would expect for a four star.

The staff was really great, the breakfast was nice, and it was great to have free parking.
The room was ridiculously small for four people. But we only needed it for sleeping. The beds weren't very comfortable and there was no air conditioning, so it was hot. I thought the price was a bit much for such a small room, but other than it being so hot, it satisfied our needs.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and enjoyed our experience. The best aspects were the great location near the tram stop and close proximity to downtown. Additionally, the hotel was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. We appreciated the convenience of the nearby parking, as well as having various fast-food options nearby for meals.

Hotel was easy to find as it was outside the main city centre
It was a liong way from the tourist sites. I was told by hotel staff approx 10 - 15 minutes walk to city but more like 70 minutes walk.

I recently stayed at the Patchworkhotel in Augsburg for a few nights while on a trip to Munich. The location was very convenient as it is right off the A8, making it easy to get to Munich. The desk staff were friendly and the downstairs restaurant was open late, which was perfect since I arrived after 8pm. The hotel was much cheaper compared to the high prices of hotels in Munich during Oktoberfest. As a solo traveler, the single room was just what I needed and the ample parking provided in the downstairs lot was a bonus. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
Would recommend this hotel.
